Journal of Research and Practice »Journal of Pharmaceuticals Quality Assurance Issues» has been published since 2013 with frequency of 4 issues per year and is a press organ of the Technical Committee «Medicines» of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart). The main purpose of the periodical is to bring to the scientific and professional community the modern publications on topical questions of regulation of the medicine circulation, ensuring the medicine quality, standardization and control in the production of medicines, economic evaluation of pharmacotherapy of basic nosologies, research at all stages of the life cycle of a medicine.

The Editorial Board consists of leading industry experts who have been working in the above areas for more than 15 years. The main sections of the journal will be represented by the following major positions: pharmaceutical analysis and quality control of medicines; pharmaceutical technology; pharmacology; pharmaceutical education, management and economics of pharmacy; pharmacoeconomics.

Since 2015, in accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the HAC of the Ministry of education and science of Russia, the journal has been included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific publications recommended for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate or doctor habilitated of science in the specialty: biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
