The editorial board of the Journal of Research and Practice »Journal of Pharmaceuticals Quality Assurance Issues» asks authors to observe the following rules when preparing articles for publication.
Editorial ethics. The data presented in the work must be original. It is not allowed to send to the editorial board works that have already been published in other publications or accepted for publication by other editorial boards.
The article must be accompanied by an official referral from the institution where the work was completed, have a visa from the scientific supervisor, and a seal. The article must be signed by all authors (on the last page), which gives the right to publish it and post it on the publisher’s website.
The editorial board reserves the right to shorten and edit accepted works. The date of receipt of the article is considered to be the time of receipt of the final (revised) version of the article.
The article must be carefully edited and verified by the author. The presentation must be clear, without long introductions and repetitions.
1. Article structure scheme. TITLE PAGE: 1) article title; 2) initials and surnames of the authors; 3) full name of the institution where the author works, with the obligatory indication of the status of the organization (abbreviation before the name) and departmental affiliation; 4) city; 5) UDC.
After the title page in English the following should be presented: article title; initials and surnames of the authors; full name of the institution; abstract (no more than 0.5 typewritten page) and keywords (Keywords).
Additional information about each author necessary for processing the journal in the Russian Science Citation Index is indicated on a separate page: full name in Russian and in transliteration, e-mail, postal address (with zip code), telephone number for contacting the authors of the article.
Further, original articles should contain the following sections: ABSTRACT; KEYWORDS; BRIEF INTRODUCTION, reflecting the state of the issue at the time of writing the article, the purpose and objectives of the present study; MATERIALS AND METHODS; RESULTS AND DISCUSSION; CONCLUSIONS (by points) or CONCLUSION; BIBLIOGRAPHICAL LIST.
2. The original article should not exceed 10 typewritten pages, lectures — 8–10, literature review — 18–20, reviews, chronicles — 4–5, personalities — 2–3. When preparing review articles, please include in the list of references mainly publications of recent years.
3. Materials should be prepared in the Microsoft Word text editor (parameter “Text DOC); computer typesetting should be done without formatting and hyphenation in ANSII text format, 14 font size, with 1.5 spacing between lines (double typewriting spacing).
4. Figures in the form of graphs, diagrams must be supplemented with digital data in the form of tables in the Excel program.
5. Photographic figures (histograms, echograms, etc.) must be submitted as separate files, not inserted into the text of the article. The file format for black-and-white figures is BMP or GIF (extension *.bmp, *.gif), for color figures and gray scale – JPG (extension *.jpg), resolution 600 dpi (pixels per inch); ZIP, RAR or other compression may be used.
6. Figure captions are placed after the list of references. Each figure must have a general title, followed by an explanation of all the digital and letter designations in it. The captions for microphotographs must indicate the staining method and magnification.
7. Tables must be numbered (top right) and have a title. Abbreviations of words in tables are not allowed. Tables may be given in the text, without being placed on separate pages.
8. All physical quantities given in the article must be expressed in SI units. When preparing the article, it is necessary to take into account the rules for using symbols, abbreviations, symbols, etc., recommended by the Commission on Biochemical Nomenclature.
9. The bibliography should include no more than 20 sources, for reviews — no more than 50. Unpublished works are not included in the list of references.
10. The numbering of references begins with the number 1. In the text of the article, references are given in square brackets in strict accordance with the list of references. The numbering of references is determined by the order of their citation in the text, and not alphabetically.
